Silver Canadian Wildlife Coin Series
One of the most popular and enduring collections offered by the Royal Canadian Mint is the “Silver Canadian Wildlife Series“. With its wide-open spaces and extreme conditions, Canada is home to some of the most exotic wildlife in the Northern Hemisphere. This series of coins includes depictions of six of the most iconic wild species found in the Canadian wilderness.
This Silver Canadian Wildlife Series was minted by the Royal Canadian Mint in the years 2011 to 2013. Each year featured 2 separate animals. Each species received a mintage of 1,000,000 coins, which is standard for the RCM. The obverse contains an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, while the reverse shows one of the animals chosen for that year. Below are some of the options available for coin collectors and bullion investors.
New collectors should know they need to buy various types of equipment to help preserve their investments. This includes Acrylic Wildlife Coin Capsules for storage and display, or else other air-tight holders with a gasket for sealing. Either way, you’ll need to provide protection from scratches for your investment.
